Trans Canada Trail has developed guidelines outlining responsible trail operation and visitor management during the current COVID-19 outbreak. These guidelines reflect the best available scientific evidence together with expert opinion from Canadian public health officials on reducing the spread of the novel coronavirus. These guidelines are subject to change as new information on transmission and risk mitigation comes to light. Trans Canada Trail has also provided a tool kit complete with key messages, letters, posters, signage and social media cards for trail operators to use.
